An Archway scene I made for my Demo Reel which you can see HERE
This was replicated from a real photo and took over a month. The breakdown final may differ from the final result above.
This photo I created from a piece I found on the computer at my college. The only reflections in this scene are on the stair rail and the mirror in the far back. I think I enjoyed this scene the most of my demo reel pieces, mostly because I like environment shots. You can actually see pictures of Hogwarts and Hyrule Castle hanging around this room if you can spot them. The key to this shot was just using physical lights in maya. Mental ray you are a beast! I hope you enjoy this piece!
